This Lambertville addition had to be sympathetic to the heritage character of the house. The original structure has a Mansard roof with highly decorative cornices and beautiful dormers.
Our addition echoes those Mansard pitches and dormers with simpler, modern trim. That follows a core heritage principle: design in sympathy with the historic building without fooling anyone into thinking the new part is original. Inside, the Mansard roofline above the upper cabinets creates an interesting soffit.
